Bethlehem Baptist Church, as you are probably already aware, is embarking on a new and exciting challenge. We as a church body are facing a challenge of raising monies for the proposed Family Life Center. Many of our members, even those who are non members of the church, have made commitments to our Capital Stewardship Campaign. We are currently excited about an interim goal of reaching 1,000,000 in mones collected by the end of this year. The Building Fund Committee is calling this a Race to a Million. Bethlehem's peop.e have been unbelievably generous with approximately $750,000 raised so far. If we can generate $100,000 in our Homecoming 2007 offering on October 14th and continue our same level of weekly support, we will be well on our way to reaching the 1,000,000 goal by December 31, 2007.
If, for some reason, you have not made a commitment to the Capital Stewardship Campaign, do it today! Every commitment brings us clower to our goal as we make our Race to a Million before the end of 2007. Each new commitment aslo gives our committee the best psiible flexibilty in pursing the most advantageous financing options for the church. We want to be good stears of God's resources. It is our hope that you will prayerfully consider participating in this endeavor. Please contact Byron Harris (Chairman) of the Building Fund Committee at 266-7831 if you have any questions about the Capital Sewarship Campaign, or how you can get started.
